Open Love NY presents Poly Movie Night, a FREE series of feature films that focus on the portrayal of consensual / ethical non-monogamy in cinema. This month we’ll be at The Delancey (where Poly Cocktails is also held, but on the main floor instead of upstairs).
Please join us for “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” (2008), directed by Woody Allen and starring Rebecca Hall, Scarlett Johansson, Javier Bardem, and Penélope Cruz.
We’ll meet at 6:30 at The Delancey (168 Delancey Street) for pre-screening socializing and start the movie at 7 pm. The more people come, the more likely we’ll continue the event! The event is free, although a $5-$10 suggested donation to help fund future events is much appreciated.
Synopsis: Two young friends, Vicky and Cristina, travel to Barcelona for the summer before Vicky marries her wealthy, reliable fiancee. Both are attracted to a Spanish painter who continually refers to his ex-wife and their tumultuous relationship. Running time: 1 hour, 36 minutes.
