Open Love NY is excited to welcome the co-hosts of Poly Movie Night, Lisa Mackie and Mischa Lin, for a presentation on how non-monogamy has been portrayed in American cinema and TV over the years. From pre-production code gems like “Design for Living” (1933) to current films like “Professor Marston and the Wonder Women” (2017), there are probably a lot more movies and TV shows about poly than you thought there were. Join us for a guided tour and discussion of the rare and sometimes wonderful visual stories where people sometimes live “hap-poly ever after!”

About the speakers
Lisa was once an extra in a short comedy called Meat about a family of cannibals in Park Slope, which actually makes her six degrees from Kevin Bacon. She founded Poly Movie Night in 2016 for Open Love NY and also became one of the hosts of Poly Cocktails the same year.
Mischa is the founding president and current treasurer of Open Love NY and an avid cinephile, having attended the AMC 24-hour Best Picture Showcase nine out of the past 10 years. She co-hosts Poly Movie Night on the first Wednesday of each month for Open Love NY.
