Open Love NY presents Poly Movie Night, a FREE series of feature films that focus on the portrayal of consensual / ethical non-monogamy in cinema. This month we’ll be hosting the event on Zoom while we practice social distancing to slow the spread of Covid-19.
On April 1, please join us for “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” (2008), starring Rebecca Hall (“Professor Marston and the Wonder Women”), Scarlett Johansson (“Black Widow”), Javier Bardem, and Penélope Cruz.
The Zoom session will start at 6:30 for pre-screening socializing and the movie will start at 7 pm. Please download Zoom before the film starts. The event is free, although a $5-$10 suggested donation to help fund future events is much appreciated. You can send donations through Venmo to @Open-LoveNY.
Synopsis: Two young friends, Vicky and Cristina, travel to Barcelona for the summer before Vicky marries her wealthy, reliable fiancee. Both are attracted to a Spanish painter who continually refers to his ex-wife and their tumultuous relationship.
