Open Love NY presents Poly Movie Night, a FREE series of feature films that focus on the portrayal of consensual / ethical non-monogamy in cinema. This month we’ll be hosting the event on Zoom and every other month we will be in person at the Bureau of General Services, Queer Division, located on the second floor of the LGBT Center in New York.
On June 7th please join us for a viewing of “Shortbus” (2006), written and directed by John Cameron Mitchell and starring Sook-Yin Lee, Peter Stickles, and PJ DeBoy.

The Zoom session will start at 6:30 for pre-screening socializing and the movie will start at 7 pm. Please download Zoom before the film starts. Synopsis: Jamie and James are thinking of opening their relationship so they visit a relationship/sex therapist only to find out that she has her own problems. They all meet at a sex club called Shortbus looking for answers to their sexual and romantic dilemmas and encountering a host of interesting characters. Content Warning: attempted suicide.
