Join us for our February event to learn and discuss what care and support can look like in non-monogamy. We will discuss changes that can occur with age, mental health support, and managing chronic conditions through an intersectional lens. This will include a conversation on how the system we live in does and does not support people in non-traditional relationship structures, ideas for navigating the care needs of multiple partners and others we care about, and self-care. We will utilize safe space practices to encourage discussion and experience sharing.
Christy Littlefield, LMSW, is a queer, solo polyamorous social worker who conducts training, outreach, and educational programming for a nonprofit in NYC that focuses on supporting individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. She also has experience with clinical work with older adults, advocacy, and policy work. Christy is currently on Open Love NY’s leadership team, as well as the communications team on the APA Consensual Non-Monogamy Task Force. She also enjoys escaping the city to go on hikes, and spending time at home with her cat Zoey.
