Please join us for the New York premiere of “Lutine” (2016), a very self-referential docu-comedy about polyamory directed by and starring Isabelle Broué. Cast member Meta Tshiteya will introduce the film.
We’ll meet at 6:30 at The Delancey for pre-screening socializing and start the movie at 7 pm. Afterwards, everyone is welcome to stay for the 10-year celebration of Poly Cocktails. The Lutine event is free, although a $5-$10 suggested donation to help fund future events is much appreciated.
Synopsis: Simultaneously a documentary about polyamory, a making-of the documentary, and a comedic fiction about the director’s life and loves, the project appears to be having an identity crisis while the characters (or are they the actors?) try to figure out what this polyamory thing is. Running time: 1 hour, 38 minutes.
