Open Love NY presents Poly Movie Night, a FREE series of feature films that focus on the portrayal of consensual / ethical non-monogamy in cinema. This month we’ll be hosting the event on Zoom and every other month we will be in person at the Bureau of General Services, Queer Division.
On February 1st, please join us for “195 Lewis” (2017), directed by Chanelle Aponte Pearson, created by Rae Leone Allen, and starring Rae Leone Allen, Sirita Wright, D. Ajane Carlton, and Roxie Johnson.
The Zoom session will start at 6:30 for pre-screening socializing and the movie will start at 7 pm. Please download Zoom before the film starts. The event is free, although a $5-$10 suggested donation to help fund future events is much appreciated. You can send donations through Venmo to @Open-LoveNY (#8555).
Synopsis: 195 Lewis is a web series that follows the lives of a group of Black queer women in Brooklyn and their complex love lives. Running time: 47 minutes.
